We brought our daughter's dog here in January so he would look good when she returned home from a 7 week trip to Brazil. He looked incredible and you were very nice. We will be bringing him back the next time he needs grooming because my daughter has taken him to two other places since then and they have done horrible jobs. You are obviously a very high quality groomer and person.

Choosing a groomer was stressful because as most pet parents I wanted what’s best for my puppy. I read through hundreds of reviews from different groomers in different websites and read through recommendations from social media groups. I asked friends, the Vet, dog shop owners, etc. Having my dog look pretty wasn’t my top priority, what I needed was a clean dog that was treated well in my absence. The Vet was already clipping her nails, and I had attempted to bathe her, but my bathing skills get a grade zero. I chose Lakeside Grooming because most of the reviews were positive and real. I also liked that Tammy is a small business owner and works solo, so as a small business owner I knew that she would be on top of her game. The only negative thing was that Leesville is 25 miles away from my home, but the positives outweighed the negative. On my first trip my puppy threw up on the way there because she got car sick, so that made it 2 negatives. However, when I picked her up the results were better than I expected. Tammy did an outstanding job. Her paws were beautifully sculpted, she had had her nails clipped at the Vet before but there was no comparison to what they looked and felt this time, plus Tammy cut the hair between her pads. She was impeccable from head to paws. I couldn’t believe how clean her ears, face and private parts were. This is my first dog, but I’ve seen my friends dogs and although they look cute after a grooming appointment, there’s no comparison. So, for her next appointment which was yesterday I gave my puppy an anxiety treat to relieve the car sickness and although she yawned a lot, she didn’t throw up. Hopefully in time this will get better because she will continue to be groomed by Tammy for as long as Tammy will see her. Yesterdays’ grooming was equally outstanding. I know my puppy is in good hands when I leave her at Lakeside Grooming. It’s evident that Tammy loves dogs and her business and for me it’s worth the drive.
